Easily create a bootable Linux USB drive

UNetbootin (Universal Netboot Installer) is a life saver for those occasions when need to gain access a computers hard drive which as luck would have does not boot, does not have a CD drive, you don’t have or you just want a Linux LiveCD on a USB drive for privacy sake.

UNetbootin can even automatically download a plethora of distributions for you.

The software can setup a LiveCD on Linux on Windows (2000, XP, Vista, 7), Mac OSX (10.5+) and Linux.

UNetbootin allows you to create bootable Live USB drives for Ubuntu, Fedora, and other Linux distributions without burning a CD. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. You can either let UNetbootin download one of the many distributions supported out-of-the-box for you, or supply your own Linux .iso file if you’ve already downloaded one or your preferred distribution isn’t on the list.
